Solar panels on our Hall roof is our next step towards our net zero aspirations. Our project will allow villagers and others to view the equipment and see the benefits. We will have a warmer hall because it won't cost as much as buying energy from the national grid so we can increase the temperature. A warm welcoming Hall will encourage all age groups especially the elderly to venture from their homes to socialise. Keeping our costs down helps keep our letting fees down which in turn minimises the costs for the Hall users leaving more money in their pockets.
