Driving Food Change is a powerful community-led movement driving the transition to a net-zero future. FoodLink NE are launching a zero-emission electric van to break supermarket monopolies in our rurally isolated communities. By bypassing carbon-heavy freight, our food hubs connect communities directly with fresh, locally grown food. This project will cut carbon emissions, improve food security and build true climate resilience by keeping community wealth in the North East.
