The Finzean Bucket Mill is a historic 175 year old water powered sawmill in the Forest of Birse in Aberdeenshire (near Banchory and Aboyne) which we are returning to working order. We have big plans to return the mill to working order and set up a hub for heritage and traditional skills training, but first we need tools... and a toilet! This funding will give a huge boost to kickstarting volunteering activities and making repairs. Voting for us gives us a massive head start to getting stuck into returning the water mill to working order and working towards building a hub for heritage skills.
