Bennachie Leisure Centre is a charity offering fitness, health, wellbeing and social activities to the community of Insch and District. It operates without subsidy. The installation of battery storage has three benefits: Transitioning towards net zero by making more efficient use of energy generated by its 96 solar panels. Reducing running costs which helps to secure the future of BLC and continue to offer a warm, welcoming space for our community. Contributing to BLC's aspiration to be the community's hub in case of power cuts and other local emergencies.
