Buchan has a beautiful coastline, rich farmland and thriving communities, but notably low tree cover and limited habitat diversity in some areas. Aberdeenshire Sma Wids aims to change that, one Sma Wid at a time. We help landowners create small native woodlands and hedgerows by providing trees, guards and practical guidance, FREE OF CHARGE. Every Sma Wid can connect wildlife habitats, support pollinators, shelter livestock and crops, protect soils and boost biodiversity, benefiting both nature and farming. Together, we can grow a greener, more resilient Buchan for future generations. Sma Wids, muckle benefits! Vote for Aberdeenshire Sma Wids!
