Solar for Community: Cutting Carbon, Growing Services
Funding requested: £43,876
About this project
Our project will install solar panels on our community buildings, cutting carbon emissions and reducing energy costs. Every pound saved will be reinvested into local services such as Lego clubs, crochet clubs, our teen programme, Just Ask cost-of-living support, listening ear, exercise referral, gentle gym, and mental-health support groups. These savings help us keep health and wellbeing projects local and accessible for the people who rely on us most, showing how practical climate action delivers immediate community benefit. The legacy will be greener, more efficient buildings able to fund and sustain vital health and wellbeing projects for future generations.
