The Enlightening Sustainability project aims to replace AMIC’s outdated, inefficient lighting, which is currently below standard and costly to maintain. By upgrading to modern, energy-efficient LED lighting, we will create a brighter, safer and more welcoming environment for the more than 1,000 people who use the mosque and community centre each week, including worshippers, students and local groups. This improvement will significantly reduce energy consumption, cut carbon emissions and lower running costs, allowing savings to be redirected to vital community services.
